The Pendulum is the Drop Down generator of the stabilizer.
It provides a smooth transition from High Mode to Low Mode.
The Pendulum will also assist in the vertical alignment of the post for High Mode to Low Mode transitions.
The knurled brass Friction adjustment knob allows you to add or subtract friction to the Pendulum.
